My purpose
It’s true what they say about babies changing your life. You can be as prepared and as planned as possible, and still, everything shifts in ways you never imagined. Alongside those changes comes a deep sense of inspiration. It’s what led me to create my company, shaped by my own experience of parenting a tube-fed baby. I bring both professional expertise and heartfelt understanding to every family I support.

The story behind The Nourished Pathway
I didn’t set out to do this work. I became the parent who was living it.
Rigby was my second baby. I went into those newborn weeks with quiet confidence. I’d done this before, and I expected feeding to feel steady. But early on, something didn’t add up. The weight didn’t climb. The appointments stacked up. Feeding stopped being something we did together and became something we had to “get done.”
When breast and then bottles are refused, when sleep-feeding becomes the only way anything goes in, and when weight becomes the headline, it’s frightening. You’re not just tired, you’re on high alert. You start measuring everything, questioning everything, and bracing yourself before every feed. I remember that sweat-in-your-palms feeling. I remember how isolating it can be, even when you’re surrounded by professionals.
When tube feeding entered our lives, it kept Rigby safe, but it didn’t heal the feeding relationship. That’s the part that so often gets missed. A baby can be physically supported while still feeling emotionally overwhelmed by feeding. That experience shaped the foundation I now bring into every plan. Behaviour changes before volumes do, and trust has to come first.
This is why I created The Nourished Pathway, a baby-led, no-pressure framework that supports the past, the present, and what comes next.
Reflect is where we make sense of the “why” behind your baby’s feeding story. This includes the medical pieces, the patterns, the pressure that crept in, and what your baby has learned from it.
Restore is where we rebuild safety and skills in the day to day. We focus on cues, rhythm, pacing, positioning, hunger trust, and a plan that fits your real life, not a textbook.
Reclaim is where families step into life after the tube or after the aversion, with confidence, flexibility, and a feeding relationship that feels calmer and more natural again.
Today, this work is my purpose, not only because I’ve lived it, but because I’ve dedicated my career to it. I bring professional expertise, developmental understanding, and thousands of hours of real-world pattern recognition to every baby I support. I hold the same belief every time. Your baby isn’t a problem to solve. They’re a person to understand.
If you’re here because feeding has started to feel heavy, you’re in the right place. There is a way forward, and it can feel calmer than this.
